PRESENTATION
The participants will go through the most accessible part of the games played in the first year of study at the Acting College. One should mention the difference between what PLAYING means in theater compared to sports: in sports the result comes first, whereas in the theater the EVOLUTION towards the result is the priority.
OBJECTIVES
to gain knowledge and especially self-knowledge (the participants will face completely new situations that will help them discover themselves)
to test and, why not?, to improve the capacity to focus.
to develop the capacity to improvise (developing one’s imagination, capacity to break the convention limits, spontaneity and the fastness of one’s reactions).
to test the capacity to catch the attention of an interlocutor, to impose an image, the capacity to stay in front of a crowd and make oneself heard and looked at (which is mandatory especially in the case of employees who come in contact with company’s clients or collaborators) .
to test the capacity of self-expression, observation, memory and expressiveness skills, and honesty.
Besides all these functions, the acting games are also entertaining. The employees will be amused observing each other with more attention and will get to know each other in other situations than typical work ones. At the end of the session a theater contest with prizes can be organized.
This is recommended for employees in Sales departments / management / staff that didn’t get a chance to know each other. Following the program, a confidential report on each participant and on the entire collective can be delivered to the client, as well as proposals for future activities that would be beneficial for the team.
The program’s particularity is that is can be adapted to client’s objectives, whichever these may be. The program was designed by Globe Trotter Company in cooperation with Joint Theater. One trainer can work with 20 people at most.
FEE:
100 EUR/group/hour
One trainer and one observer/group attend.
