Dragoslavele Hermitage
This establishment became patriarchal leisure residence in 1929. In that year the priesthood from Muscel built a villa and gave it to Patriarch Miron Cristea.
The wooden church of the hermitage was built by the parishioners from Borsa, Maramures.
The church is dated in 1661 and was brought to Dragoslavele by Patriarch Justian (1948-1977) in 1949.
The summer residence of Romanian Patriarch, Dragoslavele Hermitage is a warm, quiet place. The gentle landscapes, the forest, the roses bowers make this place a special, completely peaceful one.
