Pecineagu Dam

Pecineagu Dam is situated on the upper course of
Dambovita river, in a depression between Piatra Craiului
and Iezer-Papusa mountains.

The dam is made of ripraps with an upstream mask of reinforced concrete. The dam is 107 m high and its cornice is 267 m long.

A perimeter gallery was built at the basis of the sealing mask and 50 vertical drainage wells were drilled on its line.
